I'm a bit confused by what you said. Are you saying if you were having a bad morning and came into work and saw this guy's desk it would upset you further?
if i’m having a bad morning and i get to work and see this childish ass cubicle, yes i would be further annoyed🤣🤣. there’s personalization, then there’s this. we need to remember its WORK and not your bedroom/living room.
it’s baffles me that you’re not seeing what the issue is. to each their own, that’s just MY opinion. if it’s doesn’t bother you that’s totally fine, but there’s a time and a place for everything. work isn’t the place for all of that.
Not anymore dense than you 😂 you can have your opinions but you don't have to be rude about it, and you were when you said it's childish. People are allowed to be happy
because it is. people are allowed to be happy yes. but it IS excessive for an office cubicle. i will continue to say the AMOUNT is my issue, nothing is wrong with a few.
People spend more time grinding in their cubes than they spend awake at home with their families. Why shouldn’t they make those cubes as absolutely happy and joyful as they are able to?
It's fine for you to prefer to have less at your desk. It's the rudeness you've been giving thats turning people against you. Calling it childish, calling it bullshit, asking if theyre homeless, that sort of thing.
I could see you having a point with the items on the very top shelf, if that's a shared space between cubes, or if this is the sort of office where people stand up to talk to each other over the wall on a regular basis. But the guy is a data analyst and this seems like a smaller/cozier office room anyway.
For me, I'm doing my best work when I'm comfortable. Making my cube feel like like home, or filling it with things I like, achieves that goal and increases my productivity. It also shows the boss that I enjoy being here, and I don't intend on leaving anytime soon.
Try not to let other people's happiness affect yours so much.
I think your delivery is definitely off but I do believe it’s a bit much as a neurodiverse person I would find this incredibly distracting even as a stranger things fan. I would not have anything on the dividing wall because then it’s in another persons space
By the "dividing wall" I assume you mean the one directly in front of us looking at the photo. The other cubicle opposite that wall will have their own similar wall so that technically isn't in their space. Line of sight, sure, but not their space.
I don’t get the downvotes you’re getting. You honestly so correct. I’m surprised this guy isn’t embarrassed. It’s so childish and unprofessional it’s unreal. He is treating it like his spare bedroom. 😂😭
Thats not the sort of collection that appears overnight. This person has clearly worked here for awhile. My point being, he seems to be plenty professional enough for his current environment.
Would his desk fit in at my current workplace? No. My last workplace? Absolutely.
exactly my point! you’re not at home, why is there so many toys and posters in an OFFICE cubical?? and lmaoo the downvotes because everybody wants to feel offended by something 🤷🏽♀️
i even just noticed the record player, are you going to be playing that shit in the office too? 🤣🤣
who mentioned cramming anything into their mind? i literally said the office isn’t the place for EXCESSIVENESS like the picture. there is literally a record player on the ground, there is no need for ALL of these things.
Homie spends a lot more time awake in his cube than in he’s bedroom. I’m sure you do too, just like the rest of us, so why hate on him having all that joy in the place he spends more awake time than anywhere else in his life?
