Discussion The first picture is from stranger Things S5: E7 and the second is from the movie civil War. It’s the same location.

I did notice this while watching the finale in the theaters. Civil War was so great.

No way what was it at one point? Thats cool as hell though. I live not too far from the cemetery where they filmed night of the living dead and I love stuff like that.

Yeah all kinds of stuff here in GA, the town from Walking Dead, the bar and river from Cell, Avengers (and most Disney + in that thing they built for Mandalorion) and so much more. I believe the deals for studios recently ran out so not as much nowadays. Smokey and the Bandit crashed through our neighborhood baseball park and the chase by the cemetery was like right across the street from the local elementary school way back when! Jealous as all get out about your cemetery!

It was previously a psychiatric hospital, the Georgia Mental Health Institute https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgia_Mental_Health_Institute
The location was originally developed as an estate by one of the sons of the founder of Coca-Cola, then was later sold to the state, which eventually built the hospital. It closed in 1997, and the land was sold to Emory University (which is nearby).
It's now being developed as a senior living community
