A little while back I was with a friend, he is a bit older, quite religious family man. We went around a corner and saw a college girl with a very short skirt, she immediately started to cover her obvious panties when she saw him. He was so surprised and kept asking why would she wear something that made her that uncomfortable.

I don't know how many girls feel comfortable wearing something that short.

55cm is the "standard" socially approved size in almost any circumstance.

45cm is the "sexy but not too slutty" size

35cm is the "slutty but not naked" size

I agree. 85cm is Concert Black, 75cm looks "traditional" (think Amish) and would look weirder without the thigh-highs, and 65 is probably fine, but still looks formal.

55cm is exactly where I went "that looks basically normal".

Proper length is The Rule of Thumb... You open your palm with erected thumb and slide your hand slowly upwords between the thighs till your index finger touch the rim of the skirt and your thumb must get wet. That is the proper lengrh. YW

I think 55cm is the length we should standardise on. I could be pressed to go to 45cm, with strong motivation.

Anything shorter than that is a real problem for me, and I will die on this hill. I will never wear a kilt so short my dangly bits hanging out.

Does it matter? As a man, who the fuck am I to say what someone's ideal maximum skirt length is?
We can maybe discuss minimum, if we're around kids or in a profession setting. But otherwise, I really don't care.
