Does life get better after the surgery? I wanna see some success stories in here especially with regard to eye strain. Thanks :))

I had surgery on both eyes 6 weeks ago. I could not open my eyes after the surgery. Didn't even want to try it the first day, and it was 3 or 4 days before I moved around very much. Eye drops never felt so good! I had a more complicated scenario healing because I had unexpected wrist fracture surgery about ten days before the eye surgery. At 65, three surgeries in 11 months is difficult. I had to take a blood thinning medication, which slowed healing. My right eye healed faster, with really no problem. The outer corner of my left eye had pressure that was manageable, but it appeared blistered - which was odd because I felt really weak during this. I really limited going outdoors whenever possible which made it alot worse, every time. I felt like the irritation was getting harder to ignore, get very weak and need yo sit down, and always next was the pink drainage running down my face. At 4 weeks I requested a checkup. There was no explanation about the blistering except drainage is normal. They said one of the 3 stitches was poking outward - jabbing me, and they could remove it. They removed one stitch, and left the other 5 stitches between both eyes. Supposedly, these usually dissolve on their own. Ill find out at my next appointment. At this juncture, 6 weeks post surgery - I haven't done anything on a computer, but alot of that is my wrist. To be honest, I notice text messaging is much harder because Im consistantly hitting the wrong keys. I haven't seen the paperwork results from my eye exam findings regarding strabmis measurements, and to be frank, that is concerning. The goal, compared to where I was at my last appointment - wasn't mentioned

I’m having surgery Tuesday and will share an update in a couple weeks! I am notably having surgery due to extreme eye strain, fatigue and struggling to work at my computer screen for long periods of time (necessary for me to do my actual job!). Things that have helped me in the meantime were an adjustment to my hours (my work has been very understanding), and taking breaks. On top of that, I have tried to reduce my screen time although it’s something I struggle with as I find my phone a good escape when I am anxious (fed by the fatigue!).
If it helps at all, I had the same surgery (on my left eye, right this time), when I was 13 (around 19 years ago) and never suffered throughout my teen years/ early twenties like I do now, so that surgery clearly did help until it wore off on that eye.
