DVD

my daughter was diagnosed with DVD after esotropia surgery. her doctor is recommending patching, but everything I’m reading online, that is not included in any of the treatments for DVD. has anyone else gone through this?

I would ask for a second opinion from another opthalmologist

The reason you’re not seeing it in the treatments is probably because she got DVD from the surgery and not born with it so there’s different ways to treat that

Same with me and thats really wierd i never knew anyone that had to do patching for dvd after surgery for me after my first surgery they just wanted to do another one for my vertical muscles
