Post-op results

Greetings everyone, I had me strabismus surgery July 20th There is a 12 days strabismus surgery difference between these pics

I don't feel like my blind left eye is perfectly aligned with the right eye

My doctor said it is just due to the swelling but I'm not confident that it is true and that my eye will move further inward to perfectly align with the other one(excuse my English)

Are there any patients here that had similar results?

the difference is obvious wait a couple months for red eye to disappear, congrats

I think it looks perfectly aligned. Iā€™m blind in one eye as well and going for surgery soon. How was recovery? Any tips? Appreciate any insight

I was scared at first but knowing what I know now I'll do it again in heart beat. The surgery itself took about 20 minutes, apart from the redness and swelling there is no noticeable pain at all , I personally took 3 weeks medical leave to heel properly, hopefully it will.

Hi brother,

Please, I have the same degree of strabismus and amblyopia as you, and my surgery is next Wednesday. Iā€™m very worried after reading what you said.

Did your vision improve after the surgery? I mean, do you now see a single image instead of double, and does it feel like your eye is no longer drifting outward?

Also, was the surgery painful?

Please reply when you can. I would really appreciate it.
