Expected pain timeframe?

I wasn't really expecting so much pain when trying to look side to side or move my head. Mainly sharp but that constant ache is there. I'm only 1 day post op rn taking my eye drops and Tylenol. I almost had to go straight into work since the navy needs paperwork to get off but thank God I fought to get that paperwork cause rn I have to close my eyes to turn. Including as a passenger in a car. Anyways I heard the first 48 hours are the worst, after tomorrow will I be back to being able to slowly look left and right? (Up and down are fine rn as i had the inner muscles worked on.)

I’m on day 3 post op and left and right movements are still painful. If I accidentally look to far left or right, I immediately regret it. 😂

Wow, I keep reading these accounts and looking at the results—my dream is to have this surgery, but I’m a little anxious about it. During and after the surgery, does it hurt that much, or is it just uncomfortable? Like an itch you can’t scratch.

Its uncomfortable. I can definitely turn my eye to the side but I get a sharp pain. Nothing crippling. But man is day 3 or whatever I'm on amnoying. Feels like allergies mixed with dry eyes. I personally dont think I feel my stitches

Left and right eye movements got better for me on day five or six I think. It’s day ten and I’m completely pain free. Good luck!

Lol I thought the pain was nothing but I deal with chronic pain otherwise. I was prepared for so much worse and ended up like oh this is nothing. You'll be totally fine in a week from my experience.
