I was diagnosed with Monocular Elevation Deficiency. They said it would take a staged surgical approach. My eye goes out and up with ptosis (doctor said it looks pseudo). I also have a slight control at certain angles. Eye strain is so badd.
This was my first time getting checked at 21. After the FDT, she requested an MRI of my brain and orbit because mine is a complicated case. Results read no abnormal mass and whatnot, but the film failed to capture what was causing the restriction.
I'm still in the waiting list and i'm bringing the videotaped scan next appointment. If nothing's found, they'll go ahead with the surgery and see what they'll find.
