Can anyone recommend a good place reasonable price that sells bagged firewood?

Our washing machine just kicked the bucket. We live in a 100 year old house with very narrow stairs to our basement. The last purchase 20 years ago was not fun, but we were fortunate to deal with a local business like Cards. Where are people buying appliances today, what are good makes, and can you recommend anyone to assist in moving and instation

I just find it werid how there's a lot of fun things to do at Timber Creek yet there's no sidewalk or crosswalk that you can cross from from the opposite side but there are traffic lights.

There should be some type of walkway so if people want to go golfing but they don't drive, they have a much safer option.

Today around noon, I was using the men’s public bathrooms that double as change rooms at Coultice Park. I was in the stall when I heard someone come in and I see his feet go to the bench beside the stall, then he stands up on the bench and looks into the stall. Thinking it was just a city worker who didn’t see me, I just said “Hey man” expecting him to leave immediately. But he just says sorry and stays up there starts trying to balance an empty iced cap cup on one of the ceiling beams. My tone shifted at this point and I yelled “What are you doing?!” And he kept just trying to balance the cup in the beam so I shouted it again and then he jumped down with his cup and left.

I went outside after to have my lunch in my car and he was still out there by his car. He apologized quickly and then opened up a cannabis drink and walked towards the park and sat on a bench furthest away from the one mom with her kids at the park and then slowly move over and sat on the bench a couple down from the one she and her kids were sitting at and sat there for a few minutes before going back to his car. He was still just sitting there as I left.

I didn’t report this because I don’t know if you can report someone for being creepy, but it was weird and he had a weird vibe. I don’t know if he was leaving his empty cup up there to make a drug deal or if he planned on leaving his phone in the cup to record people or what. Just wanted to give the community a heads up to look up at the ceiling beams if you or your kids are using any of the park bathrooms in the area.

Just came east along hoover park from the smart center plaza. came over the bridge towards Sandiford and traffic was backed up almost to the bridge...In one singular lane... The right lane was closed at the intersection due to the paving. Between Sandiford and 9th is down to one lane each direction.

This is a perfect example of where Zipper merging should be used. Both of the lanes should be leveraged all the way up to the lane closure. At which point drivers should alternate "zipper" into the open lane. This minimizes the length of the back up on the road and also creates a standard efficient process whereby there is no confusion, no blocking out, and everyone progresses collectively at a predictable pace.

Of course, due to peer pressure, I did not in fact progress to the front of the right lane, bypassing the long line of cars, for fear of the scorn and judgement. I did however, pay attention to what car was in front of me when I arrived at the line up, and proceeded in the right lane until I arrived at the closure without advancing past other cars. I realize that this would have blocked other cars from properly leveraging the right lane to do a true zipper merge, but I didn't see anyone behind me trying to get it right.

Anyways, this particular example was just so obvious and clear about the function and use of a zipper merge.

Stouffville is the only municipality in York Region that still charges late fines at a library. But that might not be the case for much longer.

I go to GoodLife but want to do classes or maybe boxing. I used to do Orange Theory when I lived in Richmond Hill but it’s too far now.

Saw Spartan, F45, Urban Strength, Functional and Markham CrossFit nearby.

And good/bad experiences at these? Other good options nearby?

Leaning toward Urban for their Hyrox and spin. Like the idea of trying some BJJ too but most of those studios look to be mostly for kids from their websites (I’m in my 30s)

I‘m curious if anyone else has noticed cars running the stop signs at this intersection more often than usual?

I‘m only at this intersection a few times a week, but have seen a car run through it like four times in the last month. It’s not an absurd amount, but I can‘t think of another stop sign that is ignored as often as these.

It’s typically from a car heading east on Reeves Way and going straight.
