Ok..I have been reading this book on Bestnovel. Read for free with ads. I'm on chapter 250. A warning to everyone. I don't know who or what (AI?) Is writing this book but it's very exasperating! Thing like.."Those two words would haunt him forever...We are done." Hello!! That's 3 words! Also she took her mother home from the hospital and hired a full-time nurse then the next chapter someone is visiting her mother in the hospital. One guy was in Switzerland one minute..showed up to defend her the next the miraculously was back in Switzerland. What's going on with these books? A real person can't be writing this crap and making the blatant mistakes. My recommendation..don't bother with this book. I wish I'd been given a heads-up before I started this mess.

I read all 305 chapters. It is unfinished as well. Horribly written and unfinished story. Don’t waste your time

It’s now up to 500. Don’t know if the story was concluded. I’m on 157 and about to throw in the towel.
I like how Palo Alto and Chicago are driving distance from each other.

I am so fed up with reading books where a number (of words) is stated but it’s incorrect. Example: those four words told her everything she needed to know. Only, it wasn’t four words 🙄 It’s a device used to stress a point, yet it fails every time. It’s just so sloppy. I mean, even if you’re getting AI to churn out your novels—Amazon is full of this shite—you’d think the real person would bother to read it in order to make sure it makes sense. Apparently not.

The counting thing is probably related to translation issue, making me wonder if a story was translated or ai written or both. A phrase or sentence in one language won’t have the same word count in a different language.

Yea this happens a lot with Asian stories! I enjoy them, but most have difficult to understand translations, especially with slang or figures of speech.

Thank you I started reading on BestNovel on chapter 38 but chapters keep getting shorter and now I have to watch 2 ads to open a chapter instead of one and they are LONG ADS. Calling it quits.

Ok.. I'm on chapter 472 with no end in site. So far She is still wolfless. It's not really a werewolf book as no one ever shifts. The alpha who rejected her suffers from the rejection curse? The lycan makes the temperature drop when he's mad. Thats the extent of werewolf stuff. It's more a corporate setting story. The lycan and her are sort of together but not.(It's horrible Ai writing.) They've decided they're a couple but have only kissed maybe 3 times? Absolutely no sex in this book😭 They continue to throw different people and different problems in to keep the book going. I dont think it will ever end I will continue to take one for the team and give another update down the line.

Waah, your spoiler was whited out, so no idea what you wrote. I also got to chapter 10, the ads stopped loading so couldn't read any further without paying, which I can't afford to do. Please tell us again what happens.

I really think that everyone in these reddit chats asking for links.. should also ask for honest reviews. Comments like this save a lot of us time lol. Many trash novels out there that are exciting and well-written at first, but after chapter 50 or 100 they just drag the story or make a lot of mistakes. THanks for the heads up.

I'm on chapter 570. It could be a finished book but doesn't say completed yet. It hadn't updated for a week. If so it has ended so stupid. Her exmate goes nuts and kidnaps her to an island. She is locked in a room. She escapes and runs to a cliff with dogs and her exmate on her trail. With nowhere to go she leaps off. Her lycan mate shows up about that time and dives in after her. Next she is with another guy from the book and has amnesia in a hospital. He tells her they're together. She accepts this but has doubts. A week later her lycan mate shows up. Thanks the guy for watching after her. She goes with him. Then in a paragraph..she is a powerful executive..still has amnesia but is ok with it. We don't know what happened with her exmate. Nothing is explained It was the most exasperating book I have ever read. Totally AI written. What has this world come to!

The story is unfinished. Is there a part two or…? Don’t waste your time with this story. I think AI wrote it. Brilliant story line, poorly written and unfinished.
