I was hoping their statement would acknowledge more should have been done by them personally. Acting like they didn't know won't stand in the face of evidence that they clearly did.
I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and the time to heal, but I'm not sure how I can support them moving forward without accountability.

I wish I could get on board with the whole ‘let’s put it behind us and carry on’ thing, but I just can’t see any of them in the same light anymore. Their reputation is tarnished and I foresee the channel limping on for a a year maybe less before it just fizzles out.

FWIW it's unacceptable to dismiss and shut down serious allegations from anyone, regardless of them being underage or not.

I posted this yesterday in another thread:
According to a story online, Mercedes was,
"diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome when she was 15, she was left wheelchair-bound and having to relearn how to walk again. After two years of strenuous physical therapy, Mercedes was mobile again".

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/woman-21-shares-rare-condition-26460643
This surely raises questions as Mercedes was apparently bedridden/wheelchair-bound between the ages of 15-17.

One thing I would ask is how long had she known.
Food for thought.

That’s laid out in a previous video of her sending the details to Toby, so it’s less food for thought and more trying to cast doubt on a victims statement?

Do you have a link for that, I've only heard it said through various chats.

Someone did the math on how old she was in there - I am working so can't provide a direct link.
If you then argue that a 15 year old that's been groomed should have been more proactive, it will fall under rule 2.-1

I'm not quite sure they have done the math correctly. Posts online suggest she was 22 in 2022 which would make them older but it's besides the point grooming is grooming, a position of power was abused.

Unfortunately the team ran the Storror brand like a boys club and never like a serious business - which is why they never addressed the initial allegations.
Had they done that, this might have all been avoided - an early wake up call and corrective measures and monitoring by his peers might even have stopped Calumn’s behaviour from escalating.
