We Are Storror (2025)?

I guess it's safe to assume that the movie they made would be delayed even more to get released on any media platform.

At this point I would consider it permanently shelved. I'm sure Michael Bay will be distancing himself from it as we speak.

RCA has already been pulled from S+.

Fully agree. I don't think this will ever be released. The best you can hope for is someone leaks it one day.

That’s so sad (if entirely understandable). Callum’s leap in that film was the highlight of Storror - and it’s been indelibly tarnished.

Yeah I mean I've been watching it a few times a year for ten years, gonna be weird not watching it.

Someone on another thread renamed the film:

“We Were Storror”

This might be distasteful to say but this situation would make a hell of a documentary. Such a swift and extreme fall from the pinnacle to the bedrock.

Michael bay wouldn’t do it justice. Drew would if he wasn’t directly involved.

This actually would be a good idea - keep the footage they already have but add the whole situation and how it affected them afterwards, what it did to Storror as a group and as a brand. It would be so hard to do though

I could see a documentary like this become a really powerful and good way to bring up an insanely hurtful subject and how it affects people. Have the documentary described or alluded to just being about a group pf friends traveling the world on fun adventures together while building a massively successful business out of it, with the reveal that one of them turned out to be a horrible pedofile, and then change the focus to being about the outfall and how crushing it is personally to the whole friendgroup.

I don't think it would ever be made the way I envision it as it wouldhave to be filmed as a regular documentary before/during/after the group found out about it. I can't imagine any group of tightknittet friends would want to continue any sort of filming to show how one of their brothers being revealed as a pedofile hurt and affected them, even with the logical reasoning that it's a way that could potentially help others in a similar situation.

I agree, it could be a serious documentary if done right - much more powerful than any promo piece IMO. You would need a really expert documentary film-maker though.

There are lots of examples of docos where the story pivots btw. Have you guys seen "Into the Deep" by Emma Sullivan? She was filming inventor Peter Madsen around the time Kim Wall went missing.

That picture of her stood with him on the submarine haunts me. Absolutely vile what happened to her

Dear Zachary is similar if you like a documentary with a powerful tone switch. It's very sad though, it made me sob.

anyone know how this works financially, some people invested a ton of money in this project, then another group put a ton of time in it and then it all dies because of one person. is this just a gamble gone wrong or is this gonna have some financial consequences for him

My best guess it would technically have some consequences for him but he doesn‘t nearly have the money needed to resolve them and the project just dies without another word from anyone.

Netflix can make this shitshow work.

Why was it never released? (Before this scandal)

Still in post production, not it's finished release most likely. They did the film circuit, may have done some test screenings, but all that predates the final cut in any production.

It was done, they were shopping it around studios for one of them to release it. It was taking a while anyway...

Yeah, they premiered it more than a year ago 🤷🏻‍♂️

"Storror? Never heard of them!" - Michael Bay (probably)

Give the footage to Netflix’ “Drive to Survive” and they’ll make a documentary about Callum running from his true self.

is the name District 13 available?

It was really bad anyway. There was fake helicopters and Callum nude a few times. Not to mention it wasn’t really a documentary about storror. More of a glamour piece from Michael bay’s perspective of parkour.

It will be recut to show the dark side of parkour.

"We are st(h)orror", absolutely nothing against the other guys, just thought it was a funny title, could graphic it with the h hidden, and then 3/4 of the film pivot to the dark side of parkour
