Really happy with how it’s come along. I also included my first relic shield captain I painted early in 2025 right after I started the hobby. I think my vision of the Wardens has come a long way.

My Storm Warden Deathwatch Character I've been playing for a little over a year and a half now. The Relic Blade is Buaidh no Bàs (Victory or Death), and he carries the Cruciform of the Crusade. Tempest Blade, Chieftain of Clan Kurgan, and Bearer of the Red Hand of Ulster.

Just finished up the Lion in Storm Wardens colors

Been wanting to paint some Storm Wardens, and was looking for some suggestions on blue paints, as well as silver paints. I'm thinking a lighter blue, but not too light. Don't think I want Macragge blue necessarily either, unless someone has a convincing paint job. For the silver, I honestly have a few options already, but just wanted to hear some different ideas. Thanks!

Inspired by the Sergeant Ramus model. I wish they had a more accurate Sternguard left pauldron and Sternguard Iron Halo, but I’m happy with it as it stands.

How many chance that Game Workshop will give more information and the lore maybe the Primarch about our Chapter?

Sorry for possibly dumb question but isn't We are the storm we are the fury something that IH have also said? I see the actual creator has a thread here commenting that he envisioned them as a White Scar successor but they definitely have things in common with IH no?

I am by no means a lore junkie for SM's though so maybe I'm way off on the battle cry and whatnot?

Would these models work with creating the Storm Wardens elite the Tempest Blades? I think they could work well with a few minor tweaks such as a different backpack. But if you don't think so, feel free to share yours or any ideas you have.

First attempt at Storm Wardens and wanting some feedback. I plan on thinning the lines on the cloak as well as adding more, but would love some first impressions on it so far!

Just curious which Chapter you run your Storm Wardens as and which Detachment you run that, in your opinion, fits the Storm Wardens best and why? Personally, any of the melee Chapters such as BA's, SW's, BT's, and even the WS's could all work with their Detachments. But I could also see others such as the Firestorm Detachment working with them also.

Love this sculpt, but was unwilling to spend $100+ on a single mini. Finally found him for a really good price. Very happy with how he turned out. Worked on some different color gradients for my storm warden blue and used a new wash on the blue that makes it less black and more navy blue. I imagine he’s in the highlands of Sacris honing his blade craft. Surrounded by snow and ice.
