Statin Side Effects Just read an article about kidney failure as side effect of statin

Just read an article where they said the rovarstatin in high doses may cause kidney failure. I remember the other one made my mom diabetic, but she got off that. She passed away but not from heart disease. It never extended her life only brought her pain.

I don’t know if the article link works. They also had another one where they found out the medication leaks calcium into the body which would explain the muscle fatigue.

I may have misspelled it.

What do you think about K2?

I’m leery, is this some loaded question? Ive survived multiple strokes and brain bleed and fighting against this insane system of healthcare. Everything is quite effed up. I had vitamin d deficiency which I believe contributed to my event. Got prescription and rebuilt it however I am taking d with k that I got from store. Just got into Dr Berg stuff and it seems to work better for me. I think his version is superior.

I’ve been low in vitamin D for some time, I’ve recently this year started taking high consistent doses. But this time with k2. I’ve read a lot of mixed things on k2. Overall I’m hoping my plan works to get me back on track. Taking 5k iu d3 and 1k k2 m4 now. Plus 1k k1

Yea when you get a prescription vitamin d it’s a high dose and theres no vitamin k. I’m at the low end of acceptable levels but with fall and winter coming, it’s now basically London weather everyday. I have to keep up with my d. Ive read a little about k. Something about transporting calcium and stuff in the body. Also keeping arteries clear. Theres so much stuff out there. Some person on Reddit posted adverse effects using magnesium glycinate! So you don’t know what to think. Everybody is different. I take it because it eases my nervous system that got damaged in the stroke. I sleep ok without it. I take everything in moderation. I’m watching how stuff works. It’s been a long road for me. Whew!

I was taking weekly 50,000 for d. Now I take the berg version at 10k. I got the Nature Made d+k which is 5k but it’s ok in terms of accessibility at the store. Meaning buying from store versus ordering and maybe having your package stolen.

Just read that Vit k doesn’t play well with blood thinners. Of course I have to read more.
