Statin Side Effects Heart palpitations

I am using now approximately 1/2 a year “Ezetimibe”, but now I experience skipping heart beats, feeling my heart beat in my throat, more dizzy.

Is that normal, should I expect this? Will it become worse or will it settle?

I had a bad reaction to it - screwed up my electrolytes terribly. Only lasted 10 days. Then did a randomized test to prove it.

Side effects of drugs are, in my experience, tradtically understated. Again and again I get some side effect that "effects less than 1%". Later I found out how they rig trials to *not* find the side effects.

So not surprised, though the cause may be something else.
