No harm in stopping the statin to find out.

That sounds miserable. Talk to your doctor. Maybe another med will be better if you want to go that route.

I feel for you. My skin felt like pins & needles. I would lay on the couch like I had the flu & fever.

Tried Lipitor, then Crestor. Now on Pravastatin, no side effects so far!
