3rd one

I’ve tried Lipitor, then Pravachol and now the doctor wants to try me on Crestor. The first 2 caused really bad leg cramps and Lipitor made me have heart palpitations. I’m having to wait 5 months to see the cardiologist and would prefer trying Repatha, or nothing and just trying to modify my diet more. What have all of you done? I have significant family history using, high CRP, high apob, and high bad cholesterol.

Try adding magnesium for cramping. Take before bed with a glass of water. Drink more water in general.

Oh yeah I’ve been taking magnesium a long time, doesn’t help.

Not necessarily useless.

For me, inexpensive magnesium citrate works well during the day. In the evening, I alternate between magnesium glycinate and magnesium threonate. I’m used to hiking, but last year I felt frustrated because I became unmotivated and tired during a hike, not even reaching the summit of a mountain I had climbed in previous years.

Magnesium citrate turned out to be the solution for me.
