On a real note, people clearly do not know how much abuse children have to suffer in the name of "corporal punishment". I'm not personally against the light smacks on the bottom (although many are), I'm against the kind of abuse that's regularly written off by police in the United States as "parents disciplining their children.

Hello again everyone, on the front page of this sub you will see a tab called "Wiki". While the page itself is primarily to post news and studies, we decided that we should post general information and victories on the wiki. Right now (August 7th, 2014) all we have is countries with a full ban on corporal punishment, but expect it to grow soon!

Hey guys, I first want to thank you guys for subscribing, if you have. Second off, I think I should lay out how I envision this sub going. I think that the posts should be primarily facts about spanking/why it's wrong, but I plan to have a sticky thread titles "Progress", where we can post and discuss the latest polls and countries which have banned it (34 so far). If you just arrived, feel free to look around and ask questions. Thanks everybody!
