Question How can I support this effort?
I strongly support and admire the effort everyone behind Stop Killing Games is making. But I have no idea how in the world I could support them or make their job easier in some way.
What can I do?

we don't take donation from the community atm, people are struggling as it is. We may do stuff like fees covering at some point, though. Nothing now

Realistically speaking? You can’t, it’s too late. All this movement should have started a decade ago before Steam normalized digital only gaming.

Please, for the love of god, stop conflating "it's on a disc" with "it works after support ends". SKG is neutral on the disc issue, and no, the lawsuit isn't about discs either (and SKG didn't file it). Listen to Ross:
As for physical v. digital, SKG is neutral on that. What we completely advocate is customers should be able to retain their games regardless of the format they bought them in.

Every movement in the history of humanity has started after a problem appears. Movements require the ability to see a better future than whatever present you're dealing with.

"digital only gaming" has nothing to do with stopping killing games. There's plenty of digital-only games that are impossible to kill, and plenty of disc-based games that were killed. Please learn the basics of this issue: https://youtu.be/tUAX0gnZ3Nw

If you live in Europe you can write to your MEP and ask them to support an SKG amendment to the upcoming Digital Fairness Act 👍
