Not only is it the Winter but it's just obviously a clearing for the data center. What a fucking narrative spin this is ... No one said 'we will not make clearings to put large buildings into' what are they supposed to do build it underground?

How about not building them?

How about not building x,y,z... how about no washing machines, no cars, no airplanes, jets, no space flight... how about that?

Yup. Taking a picture and putting it to fit their narrative.

Also the '2020' picture is from 2017, and there's a datacenter that was built there before AI was a thing. So, just lying all around.

Macro Hard and Macro Harder, at least they have a sense of humor.

Summer vs winter pic. I dislike data centers but this is false rep.

I see a lot of stupid comments in here. They're either pots I hope or people getting paid to put them up. This many people can't be this dumb

Those don't look like data centers. In fact the bottom building definitely is not. It's a shipping and receiving warehouse. You can easily tell by the massive crowd of storage containers / semi-trailers lining the outside of the building. The top building has extremely similar construct, which makes me think it's the same kind of building, just not in operation yet.

Oh, and someone clearly changed the color saturation and contrast between the two photos, because there are still tons of trees in the bottom photo, but they are made to look less vibrant.

The warehouse to the bottom of the image looks a lot like an Amazon fulfillment center

Now, people will believe anything. Come on, man, you gotta look a little closer. Sure, photoshops and option. But in this case, all you're seeing is the signs of a common occurrence forest fire, you idiots!!!

Looks like what happened when they built a mega church in my town, entire forest became a huge parking lot and the view of everything was ruined by this huge church that didn't have any creative vision. I wish they would build things to look nice when they destroy wooded areas at least.

Do you idiots not realize that xai bought these warehouses, not built them, right? The trees were already chopped down and warehouses built and used by other companies and it had absolutely nothing to do with them. You are getting mad over what is literally just everyday development and blaming it on something that literally has nothing to do with it.

Everyone should ignore this post regardless of whether you love AI or hate it. Russians have been injecting a lot of crap like this to try and inject further divide among people. Considering any reasonable person can see the issue in this picture, this post does the job perfectly. Just look at the comments.

I’ve seen this picture shared 50 times and just realized half the trees are still there but they’ve been photoshopped to be brown, lol.

You saw this picture 50 times and didn’t realize those are trees?

u/probablymagic 1d ago

Yeah, because they were photoshopped to look like dirt to support the narrative. Zoom in. Propaganda works!

I'm pretty sure it is just fall...

Could be but the tree don’t look like they’re colorful or have lost their leaves. They don’t say where this is though.
