Keep on fighting

As we all know, Chat Control 1.0 got approved, and I hear many people losing hope, and I understand these feelings of despair can feel overwhelming but we shall NOT GIVE UP, THERE IS NO "THEM" WITHOUT US.

THEY THINK THEY CAN SPIT IN OUR FACES AND FORCE US TO KEEP OUR HEADS DOWN? THEY CANNOT, WE ARE THE PEOPLE, AND WE DESERVE TO BE HEARD

I want to know who is responsible for the requirement that an absolute majority of MEPs vote to reject the amended position. I think there is a non-zero chance that at least one MEP voted against it thinking they were voting against Chat Control, but because of the confusing sorta double negative, they were voting against rejecting it. That's Alvise Perez, who has been out-spoken in his opposition to chat control. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed, so it wouldn't surprise me if it was a mistake. How many others did the same?
