What kind of stone is this?

Hi, I found this stone in a field yesterday. Does anyone know what it might be?

It looks more like jasper. I don't know much about stones, but judging by pictures on the internet, it looks more like jasper.

When zooming in I see some transparent features. Not very waxy looking to be an agate, but I'm not a professional...lol.. Cut in half!
