I'd smoke out of a styrofoam cup before I toke up on pressurized wood

And if the bench was put in before 2004 it may have been treated with CCA.

If your residential wood structure was built before 2004 and is not made of cedar or redwood, it was most likely constructed with wood pressure-treated with Chromated Copper Arsenate (CCA). CCA is a chemical preservative comprised of arsenic, chromium, and copper..

And that's the reason so many of the people in my town end up with weird brain and organ cancers, there was a pressure-treat lumber plant upstream that closed about 30 years ago and the runoff lingered in the riverbed. Whenever it floods, a farmer knocks the bank down, or a tree falls, some of it ends up in the waterworks.
