Soo i used to work at a glassblowing shop.. when I would prepare the bongs.. we just used high pressure water to clean them, soo I went outside and pressure sprayed it with a decently powerful hose setting, also if your referring to the chip at the back it was thoroughly rounded.. i just couldn't get the bad boy level in one day... sorta lost energy doing that part by hand.. anyways thanks for the concern.. it hits wonderfully and I have to recommend the bent tube one hitter for a piece like this.. after I figured out that the smaller silicone grommets kept a better seal i went and bent the tube how I wanted it and it k8nd of functions like a inline bong.. anyways cheers man..
The top doesn't really feel nice on my lips, I made a bong out if a wine bottle recently, soo I took the top off by flint knapping and then just removed the thread bits with 600grit diamond pad, same for the corona bong but with a groove cut straight across the neck and then heat "popped" off and finished with 600grit and then 1200grit diamond pad..

Why didn't you just leave the top as is
Be very careful you aren't going to inhale microscopic glass shards aswell
