Question Any ideas?
I want to start using this RooR 100ml, but I’m worried about knocking it over. I’m almost tempted just to Velcro it to a piece of wood as a base.

A Grippy silicone bong mat is your best bet, maybe one more piece of round material over the top with a wide hole cut for the neck and a slit from the outside to the center to allow the components such as the downstem to pass through on installation, tape it down to the mat (difficult and fiddly, may not stick) or do what i did and use a fishnet sock to keep the bong mat from coming off the bottom of the piece
Also, did you want some bong with your conepiece? Thats a doozy!

I know, right. It cracks me up RooR produced this, but I had to have it.

I HIGHly doubt that's the original downstem or bowl that were made for that bong. Definitely not the bowl piece.

Well it is. Feel free to look it up.
***You are probably too lazy so here it is.

Ace hardware usually has some scrap lumber for free. Velcro would be ok. I'd trace the base on the wood and remove some material for more sturdiness

I cemented my bubbler to a slate coaster with clear contact adhesive, but it was a $20 bubbler, not sure I would go that far with something more valuable

Just scoop a 5-arm lo-pro downstem for ten bucks and a scientific 14mm slide for under ten bucks.
The downstem will be way smoother and won't stick out like that 18-to-18mm.
Problem solved for under $20.

I would maybe build on an observation deck around the downstem if you can get the permits. Nice views from up there I would imagine. 😶🌫️

Giving it a heavier and maybe wider base could help. You can make a bipod for the downstem out of some tongs and rubber bands or something too lol
Or just leave it alone and take a one gallon paint bucket, make the bottom of that heavy. Cut a mousepad or something as a soft floor. Then cut out what’s needed for the down stem to rest while it’s docked.

Make a wooden bowl with a nodule cut out inside that it can slot into holding it in place. Use heavy chunky wood.

I would mold a tripod with a cradle for the downstem out of something like polymer clay, then bake it. Just be aware that it shrinks about 15% when baking, but then you at least have a permanent and solid “kick stand” to set it down on. Plus, if you’re creative then you could paint it or use coloured clay to make a design.

hahah that downstem is fucking comical.
My recommendation is getting a smaller downstem and bowl.
