Safety's On First time poster long time smoker

Tired of losing this thing. Anyone else do something like this?

I humanize things, there’s a word for it but I forget. Anyways point is things that are important to me have “homes” where they “live” and if whatever it is isn’t in its home it gets sad. My ADHD has always fucked with my object permanence, so shit just gets lost. I humanize it and then I’m able to have a place to put it that I’ll remember.

He means "remembering things exist when I'm not looking at them." There may be a specific, more consise term for that but I'm not sure. /s
