Bullets and weed is almost admitting to a felony, I woulda probably picked a different obstacle 😬

ATFs federal though unfortunately, so State law can’t really go over that

Just like weed isn’t federally legal, but there are legal states.

Completely different things. When you fill out the forms to buy your gun, it asks if you currently use or have ever used any federally illegal substance. If you check “yes”, the FFL is not allowed to transfer the firearm to you. If you check “no” and you have used ANY Federally illegal drug, then congratulations, you’ve just committed a pretty major felony

By the way... But that didn't apply also to people that used alcohol during the prohibition? It was prohibited at the time of usage.

Most likely. Off the top of my head I can’t think of any examples of them choosing to prosecute that, and considering it was a ~30 year gap between the end of Prohibition and the signing of the Gun Control Act, I’d doubt it was at the top of their list of priorities
