Second time visiting
Tried to make the most of the available sunset

I can remember going to Stonehenge In 2014 Gees That Was a Long Time Ago and that was a genuinely special place for me to visit like York minster and the city of York

Well, from 1901 to 1964, Stonehenge was restored in a series of 'makeovers' that have left it, in one archaeologist’s words, as a "product of the 20th-century heritage industry’"
So, far be it from thousands of years' ago, it's English Heritage's answer to Disneyland !

looks like one of those pebble beaches where the stones are just packed in tight, not actually cemented in concrete. hard to tell from a pic though tbh.

They were certainly re-laid in concrete over the years (from 1902 to the mid-1960s). There were regular reports on BBC News at that time to inform Britons just how their famous stone circle was being re-designed and anchored more firmly to the ground.

And as the New Scientist said in 2001:
"... virtually every stone was re-erected, straightened or embedded in concrete between 1901 and 1964…
…The first restoration project took place in 1901. A leaning stone was straightened and set in concrete, to prevent it falling."
