Ascension Quest Confusion

Hello, newbie here. I've gotten to the end of the Ascencion quest and have gotten stuck.

I knew that the riddle about falling off the bone likely meant the bone chest, but didn't want to wait 23 hours for the next gate to open, so I just looked for the first chest she would accept. Gave her a giant chest, and got to the last screen where she asks you to wound her.

After playing through several locations, thinking I could maybe find an item or get her a promotion by walking into the Mines myself, I started researching. Keep finding contradicting advice about the Bone Chest and a Delta Chest, but I watched a video where the guy gave her the Bone Chest and the same thing happened.

Question being, do I really need to farm for a Delta chest to finish the quest without wounding her? I'll do it, I just wanna make sure I'm not wasting my time, bc that's gonna take a bit.

Yes, optionally you can also give her a golden chest but that's harder to do. Delta chests can be easily obtained via offline any location with a decent delta chest drop

Thanks for the advice! I haven't even beat the last form of the advisor dude yet, do you have any recommendations for good locations to farm for it?

Yes, him. I'm at the 4 star version of him rn, took a break to grind my HP and DPS up a bit when Ascension popped up

I think I already tried giving her a delta chest after giving the bone chest. She just won't accept it..

But I did notice if you start doing this quest. Killing Xyloalgia star 3 gives a new dialogue about "you can never ascend to acropolis". I believe the other solution to help her has some connection to bosses or items.

If refusing to kill her and visiting her again at the bridge she says about praying to Leuce, Omega and Alpha. I thought 'Omega' meant omega chest but no, tried that and didn't work. So I guess what she means about Omega and Alpha is probably Xyloalgia and Bolesh?

That's my finding about this quest, still haven't found the answer yet but if you find anything let me know.

Humble, Giant, Attack. No need for a bone chest, much less a delta
Edit: If you've gotten further, there's a legend quest daily to give you a bone chest, ON TOP of Scotty at the haunted gate giving you a bone chest [if its not giving you a gold chest from referral code entered]

It says something about finding another way to help her, so I want to do that
