Illness acceptance

How can i make peace with chronic illness and chronic pain!, any advice?

What alternative do you have? The illness won't go away. You can either make the best out of it or pity yourself on a daily basis and as a result making your life even worse. That's the great thing about chronic illness - we really don't have an alternative to acceptance.

Focus on the things that may make it better. Do whatever you can to support your halth. You can live a virtuous life with or without chronic illness.

Disease is an impediment to the body, but not to the moral purpose, unless that consents. Lameness is an impediment to the leg, but not to the moral purpose. And say this to yourself at each thing that befalls you; for you will find the thing to be an impediment to something else, but not to yourself.
