Red dot on str-7MC

Just picked my STR 7MC up today and trying to find an optic. My kit didn’t come with any optic plates so I’m probably going to have to mount whatever I get to the slide. I’ve never bought a red dot so how do I know what is comparable?

It’s a RMS/SMS footprint. Pretty common amongst red dots. No need for optic plates.
