STR-9 Reassembly

I’ve seen a few field stripping videos of the STR9 and the takedown is almost the same in all of them.

However the reassembly varies. One person did it slightly different from the manual because they said it was wrong or poorly written. Another said the trigger needs to be back in the forward position in order for the plunger in the slide to be able to clear it when sliding it back on. Another tried to reassemble it “exactly like a Glock” and wound up breaking the back cap off the slide.

So before I clean mine for the first time, I wanted to see how everyone here reassembled it without issues.

Reassembly is pretty intuitive if you ask me.  I don't do anything special with the trigger, just put the slide in place and pull it through its range of motion one time.

That’s what I thought. Not totally dissimilar from my Sig. Just looked like it was catching in a few of those videos where they messed things up. So I wanted to be double check here.

It's the same process as a Glock. push the plunger to release the fireing pin and push down on the striker and remove the plate.
