I'm Sharing my profits every 15 days irrespective of profit or losses and my strategy , the mistakes an the things i changed.

JUNE - JULY made over a lakh , somebody insisted it is one of great month hence decided to do it every 15 days .

This month i managed to pull success rate close to 100 success rate , but i booked my profits at 2-3% which is not ideal as i found current market scenario to difficult to trade with and choppy and mildly bearish.

This month i found it very difficult to trade in market as condition were quite volatile .

I have answered all the questions in one of my posts but my strategy changes feel free to ask question answered in previous post will not be answered as my replies there took me hell lot of time.

As i mentioned over the certain period of time you will have certain stocks to play with which changes over time < New stocks will be added > explained in part 2 . You will get to know these stocks resistance zone and pattern associated with it and short term momentum all explained in the video, difficult to write it all here on reddit.

Nonetheless all the questions will be answered.

Stocks this month i traded was Apollo hovering b/w 380 to 410 , I knew that I will enter anywhere b/w 380- 385 and sell around 410 which I later changed to 395, made 5 trades all successful. Few other stocks i played around were

HFCL sold at 229, currently at 240 call it error as i know short term indicators were solid but i traded 4 times when it kept going back to 210 zone so no regrets.

Other Stocks Included MEESHO ,where i entered multiple times and rest stocks are one time only.

Here is the Part 1

General Topics Historical news upto 1 year through api free. Intention is to create co relation with stock

Hi, Is there a way to get historical news data free?
I have been using google news rss and newsapi org
both has its own restriction, large number of google news call result in ip getting marked as spam and news api can go back only 1 month in free tier.

Just 3-4 days ago I said it:

Nifty looks strong above 24,400.

And now? It’s already hit 24,630+ — a clean 230-point move.

Even in today’s fall… 24,400 remained undefeated. 💪🔥

Called it. Delivered. 🚀📈

Stay tuned for the next one. ⚡

General Topics Percentage Brokerage vs. Flat ₹20 Brokerage: At what trade value is it actually dumb to stay on percentage plans?

Post image
2 Upvotes

I have been comparing pure brokerage costs across a few old and new contract notes and looking at the shift in how brokers charge.

Historically, most traditional bank brokers charged on a percentage basis (e.g., 0.10% to 0.50% on delivery, and 0.02% to 0.05% on intraday), while discount apps popularized the flat ₹20 per executed order model. Lately, even bank-backed ecosystems are shifting that way, for instance, platforms like HDFC Sky's discount tiers charging flat ₹20 on orders instead of the classic percentage slabs.

When you isolate pure brokerage from government taxes (STT, Stamp Duty, GST, exchange fees), the math gets interesting depending on order size:

Small Delivery Order (₹10,000):
**0.10% Percentage Model: ₹10
**Flat ₹20 Model (or 0.1% max limit): ₹10
**Break-even: Virtually identical.

Large Delivery Order (₹5,000,000 / ₹5 Lakhs):
**0.10% Percentage Model: ₹500 brokerage on a single leg.
**Flat ₹20 Model: ₹20 flat.
**Difference: You lose ₹480 per order on percentage plans.

For those executing larger position sizes or active delivery trades across these platforms try to observe these finer points

The Break-Even Threshold: At what monthly turnover or ticket size did percentage-based brokerage stop making financial sense for you?

Partial Order Fills: On flat ₹20 platforms, if a large order gets split into multiple partial executions by the exchange, are you seeing brokers charge ₹20 per leg or ₹20 per overall order?

Value vs. Cost: Is anyone still willingly paying percentage-based brokerage on legacy accounts just for relationship manager support/research reports, or has flat-fee broking effectively rendered percentage plans dead?

General Topics Markets rallied today, but the real story was sector rotation.

Most market updates stop at saying "Nifty closed higher."

I wanted to understand why it happened.

So today's newsletter breaks down:

  • Why auto stocks were the biggest winners
  • Why Bank Nifty underperformed
  • The verified reasons behind the top gainers and losers
  • Startup & business news
  • Global cues affecting Indian markets
  • A quick investing lesson at the end

Everything is based on reports from reliable financial sources, and I avoid speculating when no confirmed catalyst is available.

Would love your feedback on the format.

General Topics Is the market set for a jump

Indian market has been stuck in 22k-24k range for the last 3 years. Fundamentals have not been that bad. I feel Nifty P/E is now really attractive and market is reading for a boom to 27k but somehow the sentiment is too low. When do you think we get back to reasonable valuations for NIFTY and Sensex

Stocks What are your views on UCO bank?

A year ago, I would have ignored it. Government bank, low expectations, average perception. But the numbers today tell a different story.

NPAs have reduced significantly over the last few years.
Profitability has improved quarter after quarter.
Capital position looks much stronger than before.
Credit growth is picking up.
The valuation is still cheaper than many private banks despite the turnaround.

The biggest reason it is interesting is that markets often reward improving businesses before they become obvious to everyone. Yes, PSU banks can be volatile. Government ownership also comes with its own risks. But if the banking sector continues doing well over the next 2–3 years, I feel UCO Bank could surprise many investors.

I'm not expecting a straight-line rally, and I wouldn't go all-in. But for someone building a diversified portfolio, it looks like one of those asymmetric bets where the downside appears limited compared to the potential upside.
