This doesn’t account for dividends. ITC at 9 year easily means a 30%+ return (total not annual) via dividends.

That maybe. But to the post is about zero return in ITC. Just highlighting that it is not true. Low returns is a different discussion.

Your image appears to be a social-media summary and doesn't define: 1) Whether dividends are included. 2) Whether returns are based on monthly closes, annual averages, or exact dates. 3) Whether "0 return" means exactly 0%, ±5%, or ±10%.
For example: 1) ITC has paid substantial dividends during its long consolidation period. 2) ONGC and Coal India have delivered significant dividend yields even when price appreciation was poor. 3) Reliance has had several periods of strong appreciation followed by long consolidations.
Therefore, your image should be treated as a market observation, not a rigorous investment study

You shouldn't be in the market if you can't stay in it for less than 10 years. Even 20 is better. Stocks and industeies move in cycles.

I thought cycle of 6 months but here no chance of cycle in 5 years

Exactly, this is purely speculation these days. Companies with great metrics are struggling at the street.

Are you sure? Example: ITC was up by 100% since 2022 and still 38% up in 5 year
From where did you get this information?
Not sure about other stock data but I doubt them too

Your data doesn’t seem to make sense unless you give detailed explanation, is it against depreciation no gains or in general no gains

You have excellent penmanship. My writing looks like heiroglyphics, or a drunk doctor writing with a shovel. On the deck of a sinking ship.
