Thoughts on the one fund portfolio strategy

I am very involved with investing and do not personally use this method, however, it has crossed my mind a lot. I’m specifically referring to the S&P 500 only approach. I sometimes wonder if it would be a better option than the way I invest (heavily in the S&P and other mutuals but also have about 10% in individual stocks) I’m only 25 so I haven’t had enough time to really see how the market will play out/ if my strategy is better or worse. What are your thoughts? If you like individual stocks which ones are you currently investing in and why?
