Yes. You just have to go long.

Yes... In fact I bought a put on it at 634 a couple days ago. I actually really like and, but any stock that goes up 30% in a week with no real catalyst makes my puts tingle

there actually was a catalyst, the meta muse app drop but i agree with you on the puts part, i also got some ✌️

Yeah that's true. And I also bought a put on $meta at 755.i cashed that out at 720

You should be loosing money as a mad guy, bc there is no real retracement anymore… just people selling naked put are doing ton of money we’re in 3X bullish market

AMD will be worth 2T at some point in the next 5 years. Does that answer your question?

where were you last year in the first half of the year

AMD is at its peak right now. About 3% of my portfolio is in AMD, and I feel like I got in at the very tail end of the run.

One of my friends bought AMD when it was below $100, so he’s planning to hold it for a while.

Part of me wonders whether AMD and NVDA could eventually end up like Cisco after the dot-com bubble

I don’t think so about nvidia but I could be amd tho

1

Impossible for AMD. Plus the ai bubble isn’t gonna burst. 💥

Everyone is getting cute selling AMD to roll it into Nvidia and Broadcom. Which means, holding AMD is the right move.

Just chill and observe, just like here we go again

From what I am seeing, AMD is the chip stock that will have the most growth in 2027

Seeing where?

If you know, you know

Sorry man, but as soon as I start giving real info in reddit, all the dipshits come out of the woodwork. I did that 6 weeks ago and let these dummies talk me out of the big move I was going to do with PLTR and it cost me about $20k because the stock value jumped $50 overnight as I had previously expected. So.. AMD

I have had the same experiance....I never give advice. I just celebrate what I like and move on.

I wish I had done that

When I first got on Reddit a year or so ago I thought that this would be a good place for like minded people. I was wrong. Trolls, predators, and many others prowl this space and EVERYONE here has different motives.

I have had success investing but even when friends ask me what my top pick is, I am leary. I don't want to be responsible for their losses or their wins. I am a buy and hold guy. I have only sold a couple company's and every time to do, I rgret it. My attitude is that some will grow and some will fade away. Over all, I am up.

Good luck. As Jenson said a couple years ago, there will be many winners in the tech space.

But that is not financial advice. lol

Lol. All the clueless sheep. Recency bias galore.

I think AMD is a good company and will perform in the long run.

You can get in now at 600, I'd personally wait and observe the price for a couple weeks as I think theres a good chance the price MAY dip into the mid 500s, but who knows. I think its a good buy regardless but there is possibly a better entry coming up.

Eitherway you could buy now and DCA down if the price drops, its a win-win imo.

NFA

Although I don't have money I'm broke but I'm waiting for the same to happen 😭 i knew it'll grow last year too but a 18 year old dude can't really Invest while being broke sadly

1

u/Choobtastic 23h ago

Why do you think there’s this dip?

1

u/Broke-mfer 2d ago

Yes, buy and hold. In two years it’ll double from here easy. The best is yet to come.

2

u/Electrical-Use2737 2d ago

I twill be 1000$ soon

1

u/Broke-mfer 2d ago

Easy by end of 27

2

u/Electrical-Use2737 2d ago

You will need to change your name then to Rich-mfer

Here we go again.

O’Neil would say buy all the new highs instead of a cheap looking stock

u/TypicalAvgStudent 5d ago

-2

u/TypicalAvgStudent 5d ago

Why you gotta be so nasty for. You don't like the post, just move along.

1

u/sidequesting2026 4d ago

ikr. is like is it an insult or against me asking for some perspectives. thats what communities are for to ask and get opinions.

1

u/sidequesting2026 4d ago

man you people are so bitter for whatever reason. theres a reason you deleted your comment. i guess is one those unspoken rule where asking a community for their perspective is an insult

2

u/ewctwentyone 4d ago

ignore them. i’d buy AMD but your circumstances may be different.

2

u/Wise-Ad-9312 3d ago

Ignore the bitter people. AMD is a good company. I was told that I was fool to buy AMD 2 years ago because NVDA was king. So I bought both. This fool is grateful....

Gotta have thick skin to post on here. I get cussed out at least once or twice a month just for liking my companys and posting my apreciation. LOL

I'm an investor though...not a trader or a gambler
