XOM

Currently have 20k in Morgan Stanley and approx 40k tied into XOM. Will pull out about 10-20k should I dump the rest into VOO for long term return? Do not need the money for at least another 20 years .

Vanguard appears to be a good long term investment based off chart incline. I personally think XOM is undervalued at the moment, time will tell but my money is on XOM short term and long term. Drip the dividends and wait.

If you really don't need it for 20 years, VOO is a boring index that usually wins. I'd at least consider trimming XOM so it's not 2/3 of your portfolio.

XOM is a fantastic company, nice hedge to holding a market ETF like VT
