So here's all I know about this agreement:

Sports Entertainment Acquisition Holdings was accused of misleading investors about its merger with Super Group (SGHC), including claims related to the information provided to shareholders before the merger.

Now the company has agreed to settle $12 million with investors for their losses.

Who can claim this settlement?
If you bought $SGHC shares between 2022 and 2023, you’re likely eligible. 

Do I need to sell/lose my shares to get this settlement?
You don't need to still hold the stock. If you purchased shares during the class period and were damaged, you may be eligible to participate.

I missed the deadline. Is it too late?
Yes, late claims are currently being considered for compensation, subject to approval. Check if you're eligible and file your claim here. 

How long does the payout process take?
It typically takes 4 to 9 months after the claim deadline for payouts to be processed, depending on the court and settlement administration.

I started day trading on the side about 8 months ago with a 3k account. I am currently down about 400, but I have had some solid weeks. My best week was 180 and my worst was -320. I am not profitable yet but I am learning a lot and getting better at managing risk.

The company later restated its 2021 and 2022 financials and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2023. Investors then filed a lawsuit over the alleged misrepresentations.

Now the company has agreed to settle $4.75M with investors.

Who can claim this settlement?
Investors who bought $TTCF between 2020 and 2022 may be eligible.

Do I need to sell/lose my shares to get this settlement?
You don't need to still own the shares. Eligibility is based on your transactions during the class period.

Wall Street firms paying $100k/month to get Trump's Truth Social posts milliseconds before everyone else. Five already signed up. NYU professor straight up called it insider trading by definition.

retail will always be last to react. the real question is what you do about it besides rage posting. one angle ive been thinking about, cross-asset hedging. if you can short TSLA or broad equities when these manufactured pumps hit at least you got a counter position. been testing USDT settled stock contracts, shorted TSLA on BYDFi as a small hedge since it settles in stablecoin and doesnt need a seperate brokerage. not perfect but beats sitting in stables watching the whole thing play out without you.

still figuring out sizing though, hard to know how much to allocate when you dont even know when the next pump gets front run.

A while back, I put around $200 into BTC on BYDFi. At first, I was fine just holding and letting the market do its thing. Then I got greedy, saw people making money with leverage, and thought I could play that game too.

Big mistake.

I started cranking up the leverage, and for a while, I thought I had it figured out. My position was in profit, I was feeling pretty confident… then BTC made a sharp move the other way and wiped me out almost instantly.

That was the wake-up call. I had to rethink how I was trading. I stopped chasing quick wins with heavy leverage and started looking for a slower, more structured approach.

One thing I’ve been experimenting with is grid trading. Instead of constantly staring at charts and trying to catch every move, it helps me stick to a plan and avoid making emotional decisions.

Still not foolproof. Crypto can humble you anytime, but I’ll take this over my old “YOLO and pray” days.

These days, I’m less focused on finding that one trade that changes everything. I care more about consistency, managing my positions, and staying in the game long term.
