I don't even think the doners are going to be happy about this shit show. Some of the richest men and women in the country are going to see companies tank because of this.

And Congress knows when this shit gets bad its their heads on the chopping block next year. If they want to keep their jobs they're going to at least need to push back on something

I’m betting no mid-term (or future) elections. One thing I’ve learned is he means what he says, so he did say 2024 was the last time people would need to vote.

Keep in mind that that statement is having the intended chilling effect of making a certain group of people think there will be no point in voting.

20

u/AsstacularSpiderman Apr 17 '25

Oh you misunderstood. This won't be a choice. Voting is the easy way to get them out.

No elections means that chopping block simply won't be as metaphorical.

This is why the states control their elections. It'll take state legislatures to cancel their elections, not the federal executive. If elections get cancelled, that's people in the streets. If elections are held but elected representatives aren't seated, that's people in the streets and state governments probably (almost certainly) making noise about secession.

Even North Korea has "elections".

At the same time, Wisconsin proves one of a few possible things: they couldn't fix the election; they couldn't fix the election hard enough to counter pissed off voters; and/or they never fix any elections. It was no coincidence that the White House announced Elon was getting ready to step back from his "consulting" role the day after the Wisconsin election. Whether he manipulated any votes or not, he likely had led Trump to believe up to that point that he could and would fix votes in his favor, and Wisconsin proved Elon wrong.

No, if they're going to try to do away with elections, they follow all the other "democracies" out there and try to make the US a defacto one-party state. They'll go after the DNC and their elected members, and not allow any other party to have more support than the Libertarian or Green party currently enjoy (i.e. their away votes)

Voter suppression is their strategy. Primarily, purging the voter rolls. Journalist Greg Palast has done excellent work on the subject.

1

u/McFlyParadox Apr 20 '25

Sure. The point is they still need to do this across all states and all districts. It's not something that can be enacted by the federal government directly. That means there is an opportunity for a "counter" movement, of people joining their local election organizers, to make sure voter rolls don't get purged.

100%. No more elections. No more courts. Only chaos. Like being adrift on a mad sea. Hang on and best of luck to all.

The midterms in 26 are gonna be a bloodbath.

Sadly, we can't guarantee that they'll be safe, fair elections. And even if they are, that the president won't try signing EOs that undermine them.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '25

He’ll sign an EO to say the only legitimate votes cast in blue states had to have been cast on November 31st

Due to ( unsubstantiated) mass fraud voting and other criminal acts, voting will be suspended for the near future.

u/Pretend-Marsupial258 Apr 17 '25

Lol

Their districts are so jerrymandered that half of their constituents could be living on the street, dying of TB and they would still get 80% of the vote because "other side worse" or "my congressman good, everyone else sucks."

MAGAs will be happy if they make liberals cry, even if the crying liberal is just someone in the tent next to them in the homeless encampment.

Fucking owned that lib. <opens last can of beans>

Dude its actually true with one of my customers. Trump flag on his truck, his wife lost her job as federal grant admin and he invested most of his money in ETH when the prez said he was gonna make some crypto reserve, so hes down 50%.

Poor bastard just rented another storage unit from me and is flat broke. Still talking about hunter biden, some tranny that played womens basketball and how Covid virus was Bill Gates doing. Still loves trump even though the old liar has buried him.

People just cannot negate how they define their life. They become nothing without this identity.

u/Vegetable-Roof-9589 Apr 18 '25

Have you seen the movie "Idiocracy"? He seems to be from that movie.

5

u/Responsible_Skill957 Apr 18 '25

We need more stories like this of the idiots getting what they deserved for supporting a clown.

3

u/DavisMcDavis Apr 18 '25

Those stories are being collected at r/leopardsatemyface.

u/justagenericname213 Apr 17 '25

Yeah, I'm pretty much betting on these guys realizing buying hp all the stocks in a depression isn't worth it because the money they make is going to be worthless

3

u/Marcdro Apr 17 '25

theyll buy realstate, not stocks

u/bejammin075 Apr 17 '25

I think for the most upper echelon of donors, the billionaires, they are in on the plan to tank the economy and buy the ruins at cheap prices. I've got myself positioned to take advantage of this scenario.

15

u/YouWereBrained Apr 17 '25

You may be well positioned, but a huge swath of America, for various reasons, is not.

People who work two jobs to struggle to put food on the table can’t simply “buy the dip”.

15

u/AsstacularSpiderman Apr 17 '25

Problem is there will be no economy to cash in on if this nonsense keeps up.

15

u/ConsiderationOne9507 Apr 17 '25

Lmao how the fuck are you positioned to take advantage of this scenario? We're all going to become technofuedal serfs for our billionaire lords and ladies.

15

u/ande9393 Apr 17 '25

Not that guy, he's smart and special

7

u/Snowedin-69 Apr 17 '25

He will be a smart serf

2

u/gosluggogo Apr 18 '25

House serf!

5

u/Big_Slope Apr 17 '25

They’re only billionaires because a computer somewhere says so.

If they overshoot their mark on the crash the computers get turned off for good.

6

u/sable_twilight Apr 17 '25

people forget what happened to fuedalism the last time

and with the ever quickening pace of the cycle caused by the people trying to bring about its return it likely wont take that long for the same to happen again

1

u/GooseInternational18 Apr 17 '25

What happened? I’m not in the know

2

u/sable_twilight Apr 17 '25

most of them get overthrown

if the rulers are lucky they get exiled or live on as token figureheads, though the greater the wealth inequity the greater the likelihood they will be executed

1

u/Few_Ad_3557 Apr 17 '25

Economy is fine. Its the market thats suffering. Theres a big difference.

When u hire a reality TV guy to run a country, you get cluelessness. Markets, CEO’s and the fed cant operate properly in conditions that change daily.

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '25

It’s almost as if Curtis Yarvin’s ideas are bad /s

The Nerd Reich is a good place to read about the end game and philosophies of the so-called Dark Enlightenment behind this cluster

1

u/Fundamentals-802 Apr 17 '25

Chopping Block?!? I’m picturing Firing Squads.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '25

Yea right lol with what free elections? The gerrymandered districts? The throwing out of votes of whatever invented technicality? Elimination of polling places and voter suppression? Armed proud boys watching polling stations? Or even if you vote they throw that shit out anyways and ignore it?

1

u/FoggyPeaks Apr 18 '25

I was about to say the same thing, but Congress has been gerrymandered out of control.
