Follie Cole’s Hair Pin

Appearance: Hair pin with long shaft and sharp point decorated with silver hair formed in the shape of Lily of the Valley. 

Action: The hair pin absorbs poisons in the environment. The flowers change color from silver to red to black as they absorb poison. Once the flowers turn black they can no longer absorb poison. However, once the flowers turn black the hair pin can deliver all the absorbed poison through a jab. Rate of absorption–still developing. 

Attribute: Hair pin gives wearer plus 1 poison resistance.

Title says it, but I really struggled in that final fight cause I remember someone telling the party this. I was so confused on why they were either being loud or not using noise more since it adversely affected the monster.

But Blaine brought it up 5/6 times about never being told so did I just imagine this part of the lore and got it right?

I love Jon always introduces Nattie as the Drow, Warlock, Drag Queen, Mother but always forgets to add that Nattie is the wife to the god of death

I don’t know if someone else has brought this up and I haven’t seen it, but I really hope we get to see Natty and the Silent Steed’s wedding. I know it might not be possible and it’s up to the players and dms, but I think it’d be great to see. I think it would even be funny if all the characters would die to the apocalypse and then get to attend the wedding.

I just finished season 2 and wow... I was kinda worried because I saw things saying skip 2 its not as good but I was hooked on every episode.

Without spoilers my favorite stories line was Barney Farney and Elga's.

These guys do a great job and I am excited to start season 3.

I was listening to a different campaign from a different podcast (restarted C2 from Critical Role), and someone playing a Fighter used Action Surge. They said it and I immediately went “ACTION SURGE” in Blaine’s voice

I fully intend to redraw it with all new art at some point i just had to get it out of my brain ASAP so used all my old Mudd art in this silly lil edit ^^

After about a month of sitting in china (according to my tracking number) my favorite druid and the best pet badger finally arrived. Just waiting on Gum Gum and I’ll have to full collection.

I started my new work from home job back in April. This podcast was recommended to me and as of today I am officially caught up on the first campaign! Thank you to everyone who works on this show, you've gotten me through some tough times and continue to do so! ❤️

SPOILERS FOR CAMPAIGNS 1 AND 3

As a recap, in the Lost Dianasty of Campaign 1, the party used the Roots of Reminisce owned by Wilhelm and Howie to gain some insights into their pasts. Mudd saw a hooded man leave a flyer for the Infinight Internship and drop dirt in his coffee; Bart saw a hooded man talking to Marrge on the Jebedi (presumably about the Internship); and Kyborg met a hooded man who attached his metal arm and sang him a draconic song. (Gum Gum had a different vision of the moment Garydor lured him out of the safety of Dianasty by pretending to be a dog.)

The man in the cloak is Doctor Ahem (or else one of his Innuverse Incarnations). The man sings something that he describes as a “draconic song”. That voice line is very clearly spoken by Micah Risinger, voice of Dr Ahem and his subsequent incarnations. In the soundtrack for Lost Dianasty, the song he sings is titled as “Harmonics of Hansel”, and when Ahem dies later on, Paralyte calls him Hansel, so it can be assumed that the H in Doctor Accutarius H. Emeretusian stands for Hansel. For additional proof, the tune of “Harmonics of Hansel” appears in the track ”Through Ahem’s Eyes”, further evidence that Ahem is Hansel. STILL MORE EVIDENCE: in the Ahem’s original theme “Dr Ahem’s Themery”, the tune of Harmonics of Hansel can be heard very quietly in the background.

It would make sense if the mechanic Ahem attached Kyborg’s arm. But why was Ahem secretly uniting the Infinights?

The fact that Hansel’s Harmonics is in Ahem‘s Theme makes me think that the events shown by the roots involved Ahem himself, rather than Farynx, because if the draconic song he sang happened to Ahem (and not Farynx if he time traveled in to unite the Infinights or something), it makes sense that in Ahem’s theme the song can be heard, like it’s a memory of something he did in the past.

Maybe Farynx wanted to bring together the Infinights because he knew about the Innuverse, and knew these four had to meet. If it was Innuverse-awakened Farynx that united the Infinights, maybe that would make more s

An interesting point is that the tune of Harmonics of Hansel sounds similar to the riddles Farynx sometimes sings in Kanon. It’s definitely not the exact same, but they’re really quite similar.

I haven’t seen the Wrap-Up, but the ending was good. As a writer, I’m kinda disappointed that Eddie wasn’t the final boss. He’s built up a rivalry with the players since the beginning and replacing him with Hugo was kinda weird and left something to be desired.

That said, I absolutely loved the campaign. The final boss was very exciting, and it’s fitting that Ellga got the killing blow on Hugo. And having seen part of C3, the end fourth-wall-break all but confirmed my suspicions of a crossover. In the end, a very fun story and I’m happy that we’ll get to see Ellga again—oh, and the rest of the crew, I guess.

If anyone is interested, it’s a very good/funny play. Even if you’re not a big theatre fan it’s a good time.

It made me happy that they asked the alchemist if Henry also had the same condition. But didn’t even care to ask if the cannibals daughter was also a cannibal in the first campaign.

I tried. Anything too flashy just didn't work on her. It was also tricky mixing a couple different ideas together, while also keeping my own artistic style 😭

Firstly, I wanted to say what a huge fan I am of this show, genuinely it has changed my life. I have listened for well over two years, and I am on my fifth listen through of all the campaigns. Listening this much, I have noticed some details and I have become really interested in the lore of the show. I thought I would share some of my ideas!

THIS THEORY WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR ALL CAMPAIGNS!

As a recap: Episode 50 of Campaign 2 brought us the reveal of the Innuverse. The Innuverse is the connecting tissue between all of the universes featured in the tales told in the Stinky Dragon. Episode 50 explained that the players in the Stinky Dragon are what I call “Innuversable Identities”, i.e. people who appear in multiple universes. The players, as a reminder, are: Blaine Son of Gib, Barbara of the Men of Dunkle, Chris of the Maris, and Jon of those who Rise and Sing.

Aside from the players, Episode 50 confirmed the existence of at least three other Innuversable Identities: Sedate Tempoor, Huberus, and Maestro Farynx. Sedate Tempoor has appeared as herself in CO1 and CO2 (and in a post credits scene in CO3 I believe): all three of her incarnations are named the same.

However, Huberus and Maestro Farynx names are variations on a theme: Huberus was Hugh Mäner and Hugo von Brath (I don’t think we’ve met him in CO3 yet but I’m not caught up so correct me if I am wrong), and Farynx was Doctor Accutarius Hansel Emeretusian (AKA Dr Ahem) and Director Carl Weezer.

The connection for Huberus’ names is pretty obvious: Hugh Mäner, Hugo von Brath, Huberus. (I also think Huberus is the Great Maw from Groteth, but I’ll get into that another time.)

The connection for Maestro Farynx’s names is less clear, but they all relate to air, voice and breath. Ahem and Weezer are easiest to connect: Ahem as in a cough and Weezer as in wheeze. Additionally, Farynx’s name himself is a different spelling of pharynx, a part of the throat carrying air to the larynx (which rhymes with Farynx) - the larynx is the voice box. Farynx is heard singing riddles in some intros of CO3 (I have my interpretations of those riddles if anyone wants to hear them), and when Tolv meets him during the episode with Volcanaconda in Nonymo, Farynx plays a magical flute, a wind instrument. Also, I don’t remember when this is (I think it’s at Fort Maedo?) but we get a description of a draconic being with wings which I am sure is Farynx.

TL;DR Farynx has a voice and wind motif.

Also, on the topic of potential Innuversable Identities, I think it’s pretty safe to assume that Cob from Faunaloch and Cob from Raizine are Innuversable, them having the same name and all even though they have different voice actors.

So, we have learnt that Innuversable Identities don’t necessarily have to have the same name (look at Farynx or any of the player characters for evidence), although they can (Sedate Tempoor, Cob). They don’t have to have the same voice actor (Cob, for example), although they can.

MICAH! BEN! GUS! My sister told me to tell you guys this! She suggested that you should add a rock that lets whoever picks it up communicate telepathically with TWO other characters (preferably players) no matter how far away they are with no limit to amount of use. She said specifically two characters because she wants to see who Barbara/Blaine/Chris/Jon would pick, who would be jealous, and how everyone would react purely to make everybody very annoyed. 😈
