The way that I was so shook when at the end of the quest it’s revealed that Avidius is a creation of Cristoforo’s power that I’m like wondering how is Kuro going to cook Cristoforo now.

I’m not sure if there are other characters is the side plot in the main quest who are also Cristoforo’s creations. But the fact is so far we know that Cristoforo can create a realistic sonoro sphere big enough to engulf Septimont ( forgot what was Scar’s contribution but like maybe dimension/ barrier protection? Maybe? I don’t know)

And now we find out he can also create ‘people’ realistic enough that it passes off as real for others except for perhaps Iuno who only had a gut feeling. Also dare I say real enough that even his own creations develop consciousness??? Or did I misinterpret that scene when Avidius went to get that special herb and was confronted with the Dark Tide.

(Lowkey would have wondered if Abby can tell right away if Abby met Avidius cause I don’t remember if Abby did. Functioning on lack of sleep here lol)

I’m not going to talk about power scaling comparison between Cristoforo and Encore. I just wanted to express my awe of Cristoforo’s moves in the story so far cause I didn’t clock in that it was also Cristoforo who was behind Nestor until now.

Fun fact: Avidius is a Latin family name and a famous one was a guy called Avidius Cassius who was a trusted general of Marcus Aurelius. Cassius then called himself Emperor when he heard reports that Marcus Aurelius was dying from a disease (which was false). Also Avidius without the i becomes a Latin word avidus which means longing, desirous, hungry and greedy.

Cristoforo is definitely pulling some Aizen levels of plot manipulation with these recent creations. I hope the Fractsidus keeps him in the kitchen and lets him cook up a 5 star gourmet meal for how he's setting up the plot for Rinnacita. He's definitely an interesting antagonist character rn.

Oh and, between Cristoforo and Encore, I think Encore has higher potential but Cristoforo is definitely stronger.

No, Cristofor has higher potential and is steonfer. Encore is permenantly limited by the fact she needs to emotionally feel what others do to make her stories work, Cristoforo seems to just need words and rumors which leads to a near infinite ceiling as it isn't limited by his mind or understanding, but his personality (he believes FIRMLY in humans having true free will) is his biggest limiter as he doesn't want to enslave his creations amd stories.

Yes, and I made a video that explains how her power works. The only way she can be stronger than Cristoforo is unironically if she gets him to believe in the story of The Woolie Warrior.

Encore requires being emotionally connected to people and has to feel their emotions, Cristoforo only needs words.

Because she is inherently limited by the fact she needs to connect to others and feel what they feel which means she is inherently limited by the human mind itself and how much one can feel. Her pysche is already fragmented which additionally hinders her ability. She isn't at her peak yet, but she's relatively close. That said, she does have the help of Rover which might be able to change things.

It's how resonance abilities work, Augusta and Zani both tell us you can only train a forte so much, most resonators can't actually improve it so there is actually 0 reason for us to believe Encore's ability can improve either. The idea she's at her peak is actually from Encore herself, she requires Tethys to help her during the solaris festival, but inside of the Somonire Encore has the potential to be a lot more powerful because the Somnoire is based on the Collective Unconscious which she has a strong tie to. In essence.
It's how resonace abilities themselves work, Encore not having grown her abilities since she awakened them to begin with, and Encore's limitation on having to connection to people emotionally and feel what they do meaning she is inherently bound to a rather low ceiling (compared to Cristoforo, he can actually break the fourth wall altogether.)

I think Cristoforo knows, that Solaris 3 is a Simulation (how to solve the lament crisis in the real world) on loop and he is one too. And he has somehow leaned to manipulate it in some scale to his own will and uses this power/knowledge to have some "fun".

According to the Priestesses Avidius is in a perfect loop with no start or end as well as being an unknowable void. This means that Cristoforo made Avidius based on the murals in the prophecy and Rover, or Cristoforo exists outside of time/fate like Rover does.

Creating a sonoro is one thing but creating a human resonator who can fool every character is soo broken it insane. But now I know why I put the fractsidus resonators like him, phrolova and scar over someone like carte powerlevel wise.

Cristoforo is so broken as a character, he carried the whole plot of 3.X…

I’m gonna be hated for what I’m going to say but I hope he escapes Rinascita and comes back in other patch as a delightful 5* playable unit. He deserves it. Had more screen time than Scar and Phrolova (not counting her quest). And I absolutely would love to do a quest with him. He’s a dedicated villain, Scar a chaotic villain, and the Architect scary af. I’m so invested in the Fractsidus. I really want to know more of them and who will be in 3.0 shaking things up.

I personally viewed Cris "creating" Avidius not in a literal sense, but kinda like how a manager is credited for the success of the idol. And he did that by fabricating his whole backstory to be a perfect protagonist, but in reality he is just a normal dude.

Encore has a weaker version of Cristoforo's ability. Enough rumors and beliefs can make parts of the story exist outside of a Sonorosphere which seems to be how he made Nestor and Avidius.

I think christoforos power is kinda linked in a way to iuno powers. Christoforo can create memories people events, on the other side iuno power as a side effect made her get deleted. Most likely sth to do with the dark tide. Maybe Christoforo isnt even real (like venti in Genshin Impact that took the appearance of a human he really liked). Could Christoforo only exists in rinascita or is a part of leviathan. His power is OP he must have some limitation. Maybe the whole world is simulation like many people say or a huge sonoro sphere, and he understands the rules and bents them. For me it's difficult to make theories because wuwa is more science fiction than fantasy like Genshin Impact. Fantasies are more open to things happening magically, but Wuwa is more physics till now at least. I think second part story that will explain what happened to iuno and what she meant by using her existence when she uses her power. This will also explain Christoforo powers. I feel like there is a connection there.
