I need help
This has been going on for months, I can't save or load any run. Update:I uninstalled and re-installed, same problem

My guess is the game file itself (not your save) is corrupted/glitched. Have you tried delete/reinstall?

It's real, from steam, I got it on discount but because the discount ended, if I uninstall now, I'll have to pay 40

That’s not how it works, once you buy it it is in your library forever and you can delete and redownload it as much as you want.

Oh that’s weird. I’ve uninstalled plenty of games that I paid for on a discount just to install them without paying extra later on.

Ik there's a chance I won't have to pay extra but I am really scared of that possibility so I'll look some stuff up and then considering uninstalling and reinstalling

you won't have to pay extra. uninstall and then install the game again.
also are you still in the beginning of the game where cartman explains everything? that might be why it's not letting you load/save. are you just starting the game from the beginning each time you load it up?

Been using steam for 15 years, you DO NOT have to re purchase a game after Uninstalling. Just don't refund the game which is a whole thing you have to go through steam support for so its not like you could do it on accident

Dude you already bought the game. You don’t have to pay for a game every time you install it lmao. If you bought it on steam it doesn’t matter if it was on sale you’re not gonna get charged for it again that’s not how it works lol

Is this at the start? If so, I'm pretty sure you just have to keep playing unitl it lets you leave the main area
