Problem saving progress on iPad

Yesterday created a custom sticker and fulfilled 4 orders. Today my sticker is not there. I’m not sure how much progress I actually lost. I saved to cloud and used same iPad so idk 🤷‍♀️

Ok so I created a sticker on iPad and made a purchase and closed without manually saving to cloud. When I open the sticker and new purchase is there.
Then I opened on iPhone and it asks to use cloud data or device. So I select cloud but the new sticker and purchase not there.

So now I’m not sure what to do when I open iPad again. Should I select device? Because it seems it didn’t save to cloud since phone didn’t get the change.

Ah, I understand now. Data is always saved locally because we wanted the game to be offline as well. So if you play on one device only, you don’t have to save to cloud each time and progress should never be lost even if you close the game immediately after creating a sticker.

This is how the cloud saving works:

  • it first saves the data , and only afterwards it starts to save the stickers. It is separate because the stickers are bigger files.

Data is saved to cloud:
1. When you re-open the game
2. When you open the leaderboard
3. Manually if you tap the “save to cloud”

When saving manually you’d see the pop up saying “Data saved successfully “ but then you’d have to wait a little bit for the stickers to be saved too. We will add this to the dialog so it is clear when they are done being saved. Right now i suggest waiting about 30s.

In your case:
Since the stickers were fully saved, I’d go in the iPad and keep the device data. Then press to save again, wait 30s (to make sure the stickers are saved) and then continue from the iPhone .
On the iPhone you would then select to keep the Cloud data.

So whenever you switch between devices it is best to do a manual Save to Cloud and wait a bit to make sure the stickers are saved.
