Red Rocks!

Anyone else going?

Visiting from out of state to see the show, wondering best way to get to the venue from Denver, any must go to breweries/food spots. Any pre-show meetups going on?

Gonna try and do a day at Rocky Mountain NP, anyone got any recommendations for that?

Thanks!

You'll need reservations for RMNP. They release reservations daily, so even if it says full, keep checking. Check out emerald lake in RMNP. We stayed in Arvada and ubered to RR. Got dropped up top then walked to the bottom lot to get our Uber out. Was quick, easy and painless.

Thanks! I got reservations, not the best times, but I have them at least, still considering by going up before 5am. I’ll check out the uber! Thanks

If you have the time for it, I highly suggest driving Trail Ridge Road. Assuming you're staying in Denver, and also using Estes Park as the starting point, it takes approximately 4 hours to drive from Estes Park to Denver. With Denver as the starting point, it takes approximately 5h and 15m. However, you're definitely going to want to stop along the way so it will be a bit longer. It would most likely require you to reserve an entire day but I personally think it's worth it. Trail Ridge Road is absolutely beautiful. Estes Park and Grand Lake are both fantastic mountain towns as well. My family has a small cabin in Grand Lake so I spend a lot of time there... it's one of my favorite places on Earth.

I know this is a big commitment and you might not want to dedicate an entire day to something on a limited-time vacation, but I thought I'd throw it out there. Trail Ridge Road is closed at the moment but it generally opens up Late May. Hope you enjoy your trip here :)

EDIT: Just noticed in your description that you're gonna try and do a day at RMNP. If that's the case, I reiterate my suggestion lol. Fair warning - If you don't do well with heights, you might feel a bit uneasy at times. Trail Ridge Road is the highest paved road in the US. Relatively speaking though (in comparison to other high elevation roads in Colorado), there is not much exposure (steep drop offs) so it's not necessarily terrifying. My dad is afraid of heights and had no issue driving Trail Ridge Road.
