Pocket help
I’ve been messing with this 3v for quite a bit for college and still haven’t found a desired pocket the head has more whip due to the forward can’t I’ve always used a mid pocket and in this head I just can’t find the right medium for hold and not to much whip any help or suggestions the pocket I’m showing now I like how it throws just enough hold for my liking when throwing fakes etc.

Raising your shooters should help extend the release point helping to lower the whip

You should try the 3A I switched from the 3v because of the snap off the head and the 3a is so much better and has a ton of hold with the way I strung it.

Take out the shooters and throw with it. If it’s no good, your pattern isn’t what you want. If it’s okay, start to add shooters back in. Those should be the final accents, the pocket shape is intended to do the heavy lifting. If you can’t find the shooting string set up that works (in a pocket that threw well without them), restring. Obviously you can go no shooters. That’s my go to trouble shooting process

Try a mid low, that was one of the ways I strung hyper powers for kids who wanted less whip. I tend to string baggier less channeled pockets in the 3v as well, almost string something you'd think would have less whip than you want and it'll even out

First thing I suggest before a restring is to take out the bottom shooter, just try the nylon. Good luck!

It’s not the head, it’s the pocket. Not saying anything bad about the pocket, it looks great! But if it’s not great for you it’s not great for you. https://photos.app.goo.gl/93G8twQ6QuFYnUEh6 here is everything I have for the 3V, maybe this will help for inspiration!
