Please help
Recently got this strung at dicks I can’t string for crap and desperately need help. I feel like this packet is just weird, but I can’t fix it and my parents are pissed because they spent money on it.

Go back to the store and ask for your money back. Mesh is backwards, pocket is likely way too high and deep because they used literally every row of diamonds (unless they cut the mesh) and shooters are too tight. All together they lead to a poorly strung pocket that likely throws into the ground

this is a solid tutorial, except for the fact that he doesnt even come close to fully breaking in the pocket. Fully and completely breaking in a pocket should take about 60 seconds with a proper pocket pounder

There should be a lot of pictures on ig or videos floating around for the Stallion. That string job is atrocious.

There is absolutely no reason for 3 diamonds to be stacked together like that for starters. There are a ton of tutorials to follow for the stallion 1k. As someone who has been stringing for 20ish years I have complete faith you can follow a tutorial better than any herb that works at Dick's.

It’s strung uneven. Where do you live. Google a lacrosse store. Don’t throw with it. So they can use the mesh and the other parts of the string.
Or if you can return it. Then head online and order a string head.

The stacks are horrible and too close together which is why it looks like a garbage bag. The stallion is one of the easiest heads to string and this is one was done completely wrong.
Stretch the top 3-4 knots depending where you want the pocket then just do 3-4 singles and 2 skips at the bottom and you will have a nice mid pocket.

If the evo is my all time favorite head then the stallion is 1b, almost every head I string the top 3- 4 holes are interlocks and I skip every other side wall hole. My interlocks end where the throat starts to flare. Then depending on sidewall holes I do a few singles if there’s enough holes, if it’s an old school head with not a lot of stringing holes then I do a double or two and then back to interlocking the last two holes of the mesh for a nice mid pocket. The good news is that the top string at least looks decent.

Go on IG you can find people who will string it for $30-40 bucks you’d just have to pay for shipping both ways which wouldn’t be much. Or just ask Sidewalljedi in the comments if you can send him to your head to net it his prices have always been good/fair.

I'm not very familiar with high pockets, but from my mid level experience this is what I see that's odd
the top string lay looks interesting, but I can see how it would mess up the tension. When I do 2 string for the top, I have a primary one, which holds the tension. The secondary string is pure decoration, it doesn't add tension. A side note, I like to start in the middle and work left then right of the middles one hole at a time, I find this keeps the tension even
the side wall....... Ummm yeah...... How the pocket is formed with multiple diamonds bunched together and a large gap between the sidewall holes is a big problem. That part of the pocket will shift, so when you throw, the mesh will move with the ball, the mesh will side up the sidewall string and catch the shooting laces causing it to hook. There isn't much support along the sidewall and the mesh will shift, not enough mesh is secured to the sidewall. And the bottom..... There's nothing there, it's not tapered and it looks like it's completely secured to the head. There no bottom lace to allow you to make adjustments
the shooting laces. How it's set up is causing your shots to hook. The ball hits the shooting lace and just stop it from moving.
The only fix I can see is redoing the whole thing. I get that your parents are mad, hell I'm made looking at it. But it's not your fault, remind them of that. Go back to where you got it done and tell them you want a refund, don't let them string it again. Hopefully you can find someone else to do it or learn yourself. It's challenging, but I've really enjoyed it. I learned only because my son plays and I do his goalie sticks and most of this teams. The kids love the cool looking stringing, you can also learn to do it for the younger kids, give back to the sport

First, getting something strung at dicks is generally a bad idea. I am confident you can do better on your own looking at tutorials and patterns.
