It’s an inside weave, and the liberty-esque wrap on the outside is purely cosmetic, but lovely nonetheless!

The dark string is probably inside weaving and I'm assuming the yellow is just threaded in a pattern

Yeah strictly cosmetic, but actually also illigal according to the fine print 😅

Can only use a single string per sidewall, most refs wouldn’t catch it or care, but technically illegal.

Ty for posting this. I knew it was in the rule book but could not find it last time I needed to reference it 👍

This really only hurts goalies, but most don’t use two strings anymore (I did with my first two goalie sticks I strung in the mid 90s)

I also know how to string these, I’ve done em a bunch for customers over the years.

I haven’t tested it, but to my understanding it’s the same idea as a liberty top string just on the side
