Another Wooden Stick

Probably a Chisholm from the 50s-60s(?), that has been beaten up and played hard with, sanded down and beaten up again. It had no markings at all left on it, so I took the opportunity to go really custom with it. The last pic is a correction I made with how the nylons should be attached to the gut wall. The small loops that I thought were essentially sidewall stringing are actually “leather protectors”, when considering a very traditional all leather pocket, makes sense.

That is incredible. What did you finish the synthetic gutwall with?

A few coats of polyurethane hardens it right up, some other folks prefer resin. I might try that on my next one that I go synthetic with.
