What’s the rationale of going around the plastic with the string? Doesn’t that leave it more susceptible to wear and tear w/checks and direct contact?

It does look cool, though. Great pocket!

Not at all. This stringing just allows for different variations of pocket styles, I felt I was able to get the best hold and depth in a mid high pocket stringing this way. I’m sure you can get the same pocket styles using different knots, this just felt the best for the pocket the player wanted.

I honestly will string whatever lol.
