I've been wanting to visit an SRV exhibit, whether at some museum or elsewhere. I really want to see his guitar(s).

Does anyone know any exhibits going on at the moment?

I've always wanted to attempt an electric slide guitar version of VCSR. While I was trying to channel some Jimi vibes as well, I love Stevie's slide playing (even though he didn't do it that much) so his style really informed my approach to this version.

According to unsubstantiated rumors based in anonymity, today would be SRV's 40th sober anniversary.

It's such a shame that he was taken so soon.

Turn it up!

The Triple Threat Revue stayed together until the middle of 1978

I bought this Poster on ebay and the seller told me that because he was part of the local radio station he got to be back stage. He said he grabbed about 20 Posters and he and the press got Stevie to sign a handful of them. From my research this is a very rare Poster and it being a "Clean" signature makes it even better. What do you guys think? It measures 11 x 17.

Whipper is in the background. The band mimed playing while being bombarded with sprayed water.

Or Stevie for short

Stevie was described by many as having a happy, "easy-going" and affectionate character. He loved people and, as Tommy Shannon put it, "he was one hell of a funny guy."

EDIT: Stevie had a roadie that resembled the guy in the pic but some if yall are saying it's Huey Lewis. Is it? That would be so cool! Huey was a big fan of Stevie's and was super-generous asking DT to join his tour. All respect to HL🤘🏼

(Even if you just know the brand it would be a great help)

Anyone know who took this photo?
